This zine is my love letter to cake and intended to be a pick-me-up read for all viewers. It features eight cakes for different occasions, along with an intertwined storyline about why I love cake and where this fascination started. In terms of aesthetics, it was largely inspired by bullet journals and scrapbooks. Created using Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Fresco, Canva, and Goodnotes 5, the process itself is almost a reflection of traditional scrapbooking methods, just in a digital format. This zine is laser printed on linen resumé paper and is stitch-bound.
