KOKO Sips + Bites is a contemporary Asian fusion restaurant in Knoxville, Tennessee that I co-own and operate with two of my close friends. Though I take on many roles as co-owner, one of my main jobs was to establish the brand identity and design print and digital material accordingly. From the menus to logo to the website, this design project dealt with numerous components. One of our main goals in terms of brand identity was to have a more modern take on the Asian sit-down restaurant while still maintaining an authentic quality. The resulting design is a youthful and playful aesthetic that reflects our backgrounds as Asian-American Tennesseans while also laying the ground for a warm and inviting restaurant identity.
