innicco was my online store and blog. innicco's mission was to spread happiness through all forms of art and to help the community along the way. Since the beginning, innicco has donated a portion of proceeds to various charitable organizations, including Doctors Without Borders, Stop AAPI Hate, The Trevor Project, and PFLAG.
The creation of innicco started off as sort of an accident but has grown into a passion project that I hope to keep developing in the future. My first official product was inspired by what my grandmother eats for breakfast everyday. Initially I created the design as a portfolio piece, but after I had finished, I started to wonder what it would look like on another medium. I went to a local printing company with my saved birthday and Christmas money to seek options. I was only going to order a few shirts in each size but quickly realized that it was more cost-efficient to purchase a greater quantity. When I received my shipment, I let my few good friends know. Those friends generously bought one for themselves. Soon after, friends of those friends, my teachers who found out, and even teachers I didn’t know at all purchased the shirts. When I put them on social media, my friends from other states reached out to me and asked if I could ship the shirts. I was so shocked to see that I could make an impact with my art. Since then, the rest is history! I began to develop more products and designs, learning the ins and outs of not only finding my artistic voice but also navigating the challenges of operating a small business by myself.
Currently, the shop is closed, but it is something I hope to continue one day.
